December festivity!

I have the best job ever. On Saturday, after the snowstorm that turned New Hampshire winter white – as it should be in December – I took a ride to Colby Farm in Boscawen, where Lynn and Jim Colby grow and sell Christmas trees. Lynn had a special shelf in her Christmas shop for my books, which I signed and delivered. 


Here’s a picture of the shelf – with my name in permanent marker!

The Colbys keep musical Christmas toys on a bottom shelf, exclusively for children to play with. Not for sale. Here’s me with Alex (or maybe his twin brother Noah) boogying down with a dancing snowman. Happy holidays!

About Becky

  • Becky has lived all her life (so far) in New Hampshire. She has written several other popular books set in her home state, including "The Best Revenge," a collection of short stories that was named one of the five Essential New Hampshire Books by New Hampshire Magazine, and "Could Have Been Worse: True Stories, Embellishments and Outright Lies." However, she is probably best known for her live storytelling events, many sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities Council.
