    ABOUT PAGING AMY
I read a ton, both for work and for pleasure, and this blog is my effort to share the rich literary landscape – both past and present – of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Disclosure: I work for a publisher and you can bet I’m going to plug our offerings, but I’ll also highlight others' good works and events. If it’s about a Northern New England book or author, you’ll find it here.

About Amy

  • Amy Vigeant Canfield is a Maine native who has also lived in Michigan, Florida and Vermont. A longtime daily newspaper journalist who also taught elementary school, she now has her dream job as senior editor at Islandport Press in Yarmouth, Maine. She's a freelance book reviewer, too. She lives in southern Maine with her husband and son, and when she’s not busy with work and driving her son to his endless sporting events she enjoys – what else – books, books and more books!
