"How to Cook a Moose" picks up where "Blue Plate Special" left off. Christensen is living in Maine and discovering the state’s food culture for the first time. Through personal anecdotes and recipes, she describes the tenacity—and skill—required to forage, hunt, fish, fetch, grow, and cook in the far reaches of the country.
